About Cascade 

 

Cascade is the “Home of Kelly’s Whitewater Park” a kayak and wave surf park located on the meandering Payette River.  Cascade is a rural city and the county seat of Valley County, Idaho, United States, in the west central part of the state. The population was 939 at the 2010 census, down from 997 in 2000. Cascade is located on the southeast shore of Lake Cascade, formerly known as "Cascade Reservoir.”  Elevation is 4,760′.  Cascade lake is know for its fun fishing tournaments.  There is also a beautiful golf course on the lake plus many camp areas nearby to enjoy golfing, boating and fishing.  Winter activities include ice fishing, snowmobiling, skiing and snowshoeing.
